While we operate under Portuguese and European consumer protection legislation, including Decree-Law No. 24/2014, we voluntarily extend protections consistent with recognized international practices, including relevant U.S. digital commerce and consumer rights frameworks.

Order Cancellation

According to European consumer law, particularly Decree-Law No. 24/2014, customers have the right to cancel a digital services contract within 14 days, unless the service is accessed, downloaded, or expressly started with the user's consent.

As an added benefit, Unem offers an extended cancellation window of 30 days, provided that no part of the digital service has been used, accessed, downloaded, or customized.

Refunds

If the cancellation request meets the conditions outlined above, a full refund will be processed within 30 days of approval. Refunds will be issued via the same payment method used in the original transaction, with no additional fees charged to the customer.

Eligibility for Refund

You may be eligible for a refund if all of the following conditions are met:

The digital product or service has not been accessed, downloaded, initiated, or customized
The request is made within 30 days of purchase
There is no contractual clause that overrides the right of withdrawal under Article 17 of Decree-Law No. 24/2014

Exceptions to Refunds

Refunds will not be granted in the following circumstances:

The content has been accessed or downloaded immediately after purchase, with prior consent and waiver of the withdrawal right
The digital product is customized or made to order
The digital service has already been fully delivered with the customer's acknowledgment and agreement
